APRETUDE is given into the muscle of your buttock every other month by a healthcare provider after initiation injections have been given 1 month apart for 2 consecutive months.

You and your healthcare provider will choose 1 day every other month for your injection—that’s called your Target Appointment Date.

What to do if you miss an appointment by more than 7 days:

If you miss your Target Appointment Date by more than 7 days, call your healthcare provider, they may prescribe 2 months of daily oral pills called VOCABRIA. These pills are made up of the same drug that is in APRETUDE. After you’ve finished taking these pills, your healthcare provider will determine if restarting your APRETUDE injections is right for you.
